How do I add a book?
Tap the plus button and scan the ISBN barcode on a book, or choose Enter ISBN to type it manually. MyBookShelf uses the ISBN to request title, author, and cover information from Open Library.
Where is my library stored?
Your books, reading status, ratings, notes, and preferences are stored locally on your device. MyBookShelf does not require an account and Beo AI does not receive or store your library on a server.
Why can’t the scanner find my book?
Allow camera access, use good lighting, and keep the printed ISBN barcode inside the frame. You can always enter the ISBN manually. Open Library may not have metadata for every edition.
What does Bookshelf Pro include?
Bookshelf Pro is a one-time, non-consumable purchase that unlocks an unlimited library beyond 50 books and the Insights screen. It is not a subscription. Use Restore Purchases if you already bought it on the same Apple Account.
How do I delete my data?
Delete individual books from MyBookShelf whenever you like. Removing the app deletes its local library data, subject to Apple’s device and backup behaviour. There is no Beo AI account to delete.
How do I contact support?
Email hello@beo-ai.com with the app version, device model, operating-system version, and a short description of what happened. Please do not include private or sensitive information.
